The façade at the Taj Santacruz Hotel stands out for a characteristic that cannot be seen - its acoustic insulation! With two skins of glass, the outer CLIMACOOL SOLAR unit with Saint Gobain ST420 coating and the inner CLIMACOOL FIRST unit, with all the glass llites as LAMISECURE STANDARD constructions, the facade has an Rw rating of 55 dB! This ensures perfectly silent interiors, even when the aircrafts land and take off less than 50 meters from the facade. Besides the facade, FG units are installed at several other locations, a striking installation being the skylight glazing over the Tiqri restuarant with LAMISECURE PRO-1 units with Saint Gobain Planitherm Mint Green and ENAMELITE ceramic fritted coatings, all in triangular shape.
