Project Vision
Asian Paints, India’s most iconic name in colours and coatings, envisioned a headquarters that would go beyond function—becoming a bold architectural expression of creativity, innovation, and mastery of colour. The façade was imagined as a dynamic canvas, featuring gradient hues and sharp geometries that reflect the brand’s vibrant identity and design philosophy.
The Challenge
The façade design comprised tapered, triangular glass panels layered with multiple gradient colours and finished with an acid-washed, anti-reflective surface. Executing seamless colour transitions across irregular geometries required extreme precision in digital printing, colour calibration, and fabrication. In addition, maintaining long-term optical clarity, durability, and performance in Mumbai’s humid coastal climate posed a significant technical challenge.
The FG Solution
FG Glass delivered a fully customised Digitecture® digital ceramic printing solution, enabling intricate multi-colour gradients to be reproduced flawlessly on complex glass forms. Advanced printing accuracy ensured perfect alignment across panels, uniform colour density, and exceptional UV stability—bringing the architect’s creative vision to life without compromise on performance or longevity.
